I visited Cebu in 2000, seeing beautiful beaches and historic sites. One of the beaches was Lambug Public Beach. It was beautiful and exciting, as the water was nice and clean.

From Lambug, I hired a boatman for an island of Hoping, which was terrific, and the water was so clear we could see to the bottom. We stopped at a few of the small islands nearby and explored them. We also went snorkeling, and I saw many fantastic sea creatures. The water was so warm and inviting that you could stay in it forever. After our day at the islands, we headed to Cebu City to explore the historical sites.

For 6 days in Cebu, we went to Magellan’s Cross, the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño, the Taoist Temple, and Fort San Pedro. Learning about the area’s history and seeing the old fort’s ruins was so interesting. We were exhausted from all the activities and sightseeing, so we just wanted to relax. To end our day, we sat on the beach and watched the sunset. It was a magical moment I will never forget, especially when watching the sun go down.

Cebu was a great place to explore, and I‘m so glad I had the opportunity to visit it. From the beautiful beaches to the exciting activities and the fascinating historical sites, Cebu was truly an unforgettable experience.
